About Millet,

Millets is northing about small grains or small cereal. It was belonged to Poaceae family. Most of the crops where gown in dance forest in different weather condition. Due to this Millets has high numbers of portions (Fiber, antioxidant, high protein and boost immunity) and minerals. In ancient days people used to consume millets on daily basis, and still In India farmers was consuming millets this makes the farmers to maintain the protein level also will maintain the energy level for their hard work.

Government of India announced INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF MILLETS Food and Agriculture Organization and United Nations has recognized 2023 as International Year of Millets or IYM2023. Because millet crops consume less water to grow in the lesser time.

Here some Tribes are living in the forest in day today life for living those Tribes are farming the Crops. Most of the Tribes were cultivating the Millets due to weather condition and soil nutrition. In the harvest time all herbivores animal will come and eat those crops especially Elephants. All herbivores’ animals knows the benefits of Millets and used to come to eat.
